Fabrique Review: What the Brand Says and What Buyers Say

Fabrique Review

Some brands are hard to review because there is too little information. This one is hard to review because there are two bodies of information that describe very different experiences, and the useful thing is to put them next to each other rather than pick one.

So this Fabrique review has two halves. What the brand publishes about itself, in its own words. And what 77 reviewers published on Trustpilot. We are not going to resolve the contradiction for you, because we have not ordered from the company, but we can show you exactly where the two accounts diverge and what to do about it.

What the brand says

Fabrique presents itself as a designer collective, describing work with more than 400 designers to create exclusive pieces. The range is Fabrique clothing, including jackets, trousers, skirts, knitwear, dresses, tops and coats, plus bags and accessories.

On materials, the About page names silk, wool, cashmere and cotton, with a stated preference for biodegradable and natural fabrics. On construction it describes hand-drawn motifs, bead embroidery and foil printing by artisans, stitching described as precise with no loose threads, and interiors finished to the same standard as exteriors. Bags are described as having Italian-inspired craftsmanship in suede, nappa and full-grain leather. Each parcel is said to include a handwritten postcard from the designer.

On sustainability it names FSC-certified paper bags, plastic-free and recyclable boxes, and textile scraps repurposed into items such as silk scrunchies and small pouches. It describes favouring durable design and mindful consumption.

Promotions mentioned include up to 35% off for member early access, free shipping on all orders, double loyalty points for members, free returns, and 15% off a first order via the newsletter.

Two observations on that list. The claims are specific, which is better than vague marketing, and specific claims are checkable. But none of them carried third-party verification or quantified impact data on the page we read. FSC certification applies to the paper packaging rather than to the garments, which is a narrower claim than a casual reader might take from it.

What buyers say

Fabrique

On Trustpilot the company showed a TrustScore of 2.3 out of 5 from 77 reviews, rated Poor.

RatingShareReading
5 star19%A clear minority
4 star3%Almost empty
3 star4%Almost empty
2 star17%Part of the unhappy group
1 star57%The largest block by a wide margin

Seventy-four per cent of reviews sit at one or two stars, and only 7% land in the three or four star middle. The one-star share alone is three times the five-star share. The weighted average of those shares is 2.10, slightly below the displayed 2.3, which rounding and recency weighting explain.

The named complaint themes were delivery times, with many reviewers saying orders shipped from China or overseas and took weeks. Returns and refunds, described as slow and hard to work through, with refunds delayed or not received. Customer service, with unanswered emails or automated replies only. Missing orders, including orders and confirmation emails that never arrived. And quality and fit, with some reviewers saying items were thinner or cheaper than the photographs and descriptions suggested.

The praise was real too and worth stating. Reviewers frequently liked the designs, the patterns and the styling. Some called specific pieces high quality and noted good packaging. A few said sizing and descriptions matched what arrived. Some reported issues resolved quickly, including a cancelled order and an exchange.

Where the two accounts diverge

Put the two halves side by side and the overlap is narrow and specific.

TopicBrand's published claimDominant review theme
Design400+ designers, exclusive piecesPraised, consistently
FabricSilk, wool, cashmere, cottonSome say thinner than photos
ShippingFree shipping on all ordersWeeks-long waits from overseas

Notice that design is praised on both sides. The divergence is almost entirely about logistics and after-sales rather than about aesthetics. That is a consistent pattern and it is the most useful thing in this Fabrique review, because logistics problems are the kind a buyer can partly protect against.

We also want to be careful here. Seventy-seven reviews is a small sample, and unhappy customers are more motivated to write reviews than satisfied ones, so a Trustpilot distribution is not a measurement of a company. It is a record of who chose to post. Trustpilot itself states it does not fact-check reviews. A 57% one-star share is still material information that a buyer deserves to see before ordering, and we would not write a Fabrique review that left it out.

How to protect yourself if you order

Fabrique

  1. Pay with a method that gives you a chargeback route, since the named complaints centre on refunds rather than on the clothes.
  2. Find the return address country before you order, not after. If a return ships overseas, free returns and practical returns are different things.
  3. Screenshot the product description, the fabric composition and the price at the moment you order, because that is your evidence if what arrives differs.
  4. Order one inexpensive item first rather than an outfit, and treat it as a test of the shipping and returns process rather than of the garment.
  5. Note the date you order and the date you receive it, and check the stated return window against the actual delivery date.
  6. Email a pre-purchase question and see whether a human answers, which costs nothing and tests the one thing reviewers complain about most.

Frequently asked questions

Where does Fabrique ship from?

The About page we read did not state a headquarters or a fulfilment location. Multiple Trustpilot reviewers said their orders shipped from China or overseas. We are reporting both, since the brand did not publish the answer.

Is Fabrique clothing good quality?

Reviewer opinion splits sharply. Some describe specific pieces as high quality and well packaged, others say items were thinner or cheaper than the photos suggested. With 74% of reviews at one or two stars and 19% at five, this is not a brand with a consensus.

Are returns really free?

Free returns are listed among the brand's promotions. Reviewers describe the return process as slow and hard to follow, with delayed refunds. Confirm the return address and the process in writing before ordering.

What does the Fabrique Trustpilot score mean?

A 2.3 out of 5 from 77 reviews is rated Poor by Trustpilot. It reflects who posted rather than a survey of all customers, and Trustpilot does not fact-check reviews, so treat it as a strong warning signal rather than a verdict.

The verdict

The designs are the one thing both the brand and its reviewers agree on, and that agreement is worth something. If a specific piece is genuinely the look you want and nothing else offers it, the honest position is that you might be delighted, and 19% of reviewers were.

What we would not do is place a large first order. The Fabrique Trustpilot pattern points at shipping, returns and refunds rather than at taste, and those are exactly the risks that scale with order value. Buy one thing, pay in a way you can dispute, note the dates, and decide on your own experience rather than on anyone's star rating.
